What are some films about animal doctors?I have the option to become a veterinary technician. Fingers crossed I won't have to put them out of their misery.

You know that in school you will have to dissect lots of animals (maybe even kill them). Friend of mine is studying to be one, and said that lots of people leave because they can't stomach it

I'm glad that that's a line of work you are pursuing, but you know that you are probably going to not-infrequently put down animals that are far too sick, have rabies, or have other problems, so you should mentally prepare yourself for that. It's part of the job.
To say nothing of dissection like this anon >>85371089
Vet shows are a new fad on channels like Animal Planet, NatGeo Wild, and the like, so you have a lot of shows to look at for inspiration. They're reality shows though, so they can blend/bleed together after a while.

This is a really cool picture. I might get it framed and put it up in my bathroom so I can look at it while i'm taking a shit.

aren't these things becoming popular exotic pets?
Not that I advocate for buying exotic pets. The average Joe "McDonald's for Dinner" American just doesn't have the skill or patience to care for foxes, exotic birds, fish, etc. Most people have a hard enough time taking care of dogs, cats, and goldfish.

Looks like less euthanasia and more anesthesia. Look on sunny side and prepare myself for it.

That animal seems like it would attach itself most to one person. Not unlike my terrier.
