No, the book will have loose ends. Westeros won't be left with a singular ruler persay. That's not how the real stories work. But the tv series has to end with a nice tidy bow so they're fast forwarding everything into a happy tale ending which will have some twist like Dany dies in the end. The book on the other hand will end with them defeating the white walkers and westeros being carved up with chunks still at war/un-easy truce while recooperating from the white walkers. Meaning we will get some end note that a few generations later the offspring of said houses don't believe the white walkers were real and go back to war with each other. GRRM isn't some childrens book writer like Tolkien was, who wrote the series for his grandson.
