Just watched this movie for the first time (no meme).
- What was Bane's motivation? He was born in a remote underground prison (not even remotely close to Gothan), so why did he wanted to destroy that city in particular? Don't that universe have third world countries with cities much more corrupt and crime-ridden than Gothan?
- Thalia's character was completely pointless, she could've been removed from the movie entirely and it wouldn't make a lick of a difference in the plot. Bane should've been the only villain.
- Did the cops remain locked in the sewers for weeks (or months) and survived? What did they eat and why were them so perfectly groomed and clean when they got out?
- Bane died like a bitch and completely disappeared from the movie, even though he was the main villain till that point.
- The ticking bomb plot was stupid and cheesy and felt out of place in this supposedly "realistic" Batman movie.
Liked the editing, though. The quick and abrupt cuts gave the movie a sense of urgency and the plot felt like it was always moving forward.

This movie is pretty shit. Only redeeming thing that came of it was baneposting

OP here, forgot to add my last point: Could someone tell me about Bane, why does he wear the mask?
>>85348356
Because he's in extreme pain.
>The girl
Nolan would have been castrated had he not had the slighest bit of women powah in his movie
>Bane dying like a bitch
None of the plot is good, its a nolan movie. You pay for loud noises.
>Cops
Who gives a fuck, real life plane being blown in half
>Bomb
Movies is hard, he got away with bomb shit in the last movie. Might aswell do it again
>Motivation
Movie moneys.

It's a device he uses to help him breathe or else he has extreme pain.

Makes you wonder how did a guy with super asthma become a master ninja and a big guy.
>>85348356
Because he's a big guy

He was working for Talia, the "twist" is that he was just a henchman working for her.

She ties the plot back to the first movie to hammer how everything that is happening is Batman's fault

Yep. And the city somehow was in chaos and isolated but still self sustainable.
