What if Faramir joined the Fellowship instead of Boromir? What would change?

Yes I wish that

Then Boromir wouldn't have been played by Sean Bean.

The Fellowship would have stayed together for longer, meaning Saruman wouldn't have captured Merry and Pippin, meaning Aragorn wouldn't have confronted Saruman, meaning he wouldn't have gotten hold of the Palantir and revealed himself to Sauron, meaning Saurton would have remained hyper vigilant, meaning he would have discovered the fellowship, meaning he would have reclaimed his Ring and conquered the world.

Saruman was going down either way.
>Go through Amon Hen safely
>Travel to Mirkwood
>Form alliance with elves and dwarves
>Push back Sauron's forces to the south from there
>Boromir and his troops kill the wounded and weak Sauron's armies as they travel south to the Black Gate
>Elves, Dwarves, Men of Dale, and the fellowship push south through Rhun
>Make it to the Black Gate
>Meet up with the allied Gondor armies who help them there
>Frodo and Gandalf stay out of the action and hide near the Black Gate, no one notices them
>Gandalf summons an eagle and the fly it for ~2km to Mount Doom
>Drops ring in
>Frodo wouldn't have been as tempted, never meeting Gollum, staying with Gandalf and Aragorn, remaining with a healthy mind due to elven wisdom, remaining with a down-to-earth mind do to hanging with based Faramir
