Dwight Yoakam is a great actor and he's a musician. Billy Bob is a great actor and he's a musician.
The latter was an actor first and then a musician obviously and it shows. It's easier to transition from an actor to a musician but harder to become more successful in that field, why? Public expectation. Just my two cents.
