Does America have normal cooking shows you might actually learn something from?

Seems like 90% of them are fat people gawping and whooping over how much bacon and processed cheese there is, before chewing with their mouth open and trying to talk at the same time about it being "so good"

This. American "cuisine" is just slathering everything in grease or sugar. No wonder they're so obese and lazy.

Epic Meal Time makes me want to vomit
>>
>>85331290
Yes, my mom watches them pretty often. They're usually a couple women on a kitchen set, showing different recipes for regular food that won't give you a heart attack. Usually pretty normal stuff like adding different kinds of vegetables and spices to grilled chicken and rice, different omelette recipes, that sort of thing
>>
>>85334716

>americans invented corn chips and msg-laden pasta

Have you actually watched TRIPLE D?

They go to a lot of restaurants with creative food and they basically show you the entire recipe of whatever the restaurant is famous for. It may not always be healthy but it's good food with care put into it and Guy isn't annoying enough to ruin the show.
Mind of a Chef from PBS is great too. The Edward Lee episodes are my favorites. I want to get drunk with him and eat delicious food.
