I actually prefer the UK Office but there are 4 legitimately good seasons of The Office and the vast majority of network television shows can't say that.

4 seasons is the sweet spot though. All shows <need> to get at that point to be syndicated officially. 4 seasons or 80-88 episodes. After that, the royalties set in for good for reruns. Anything less, disappears into the aether.
