This show feels entirely different at this point.
It used to feel like the characters lived in a believable world, now it feels like the world exists for the characters and nothing makes sense fuck me.

Jon gathered armies to defeat the bolton and fight for Rickon. (before Sansa told him lul rickon is dead!). The only one who said anything about the others is DAVOS. You know, the one who served Stannis?

And that aside... If Jon truly cared about the Others he woudl'Ve let the Bolton deal with them. Send them a raven explaning everything about them and how to defeat them.

This way there are 6k soldiers (plus the other forces who would eventually rally with them).

Jon had 3k in his army. And as he didn't know about the knights of the Vale, the most he could expect after the battle is 3k. That is, if he loses 0 men defeating Bolton's 6k.

By fighting the bolton, the norht loses AT LEAST 3k men to defend against the white walkers. Possibly 6k, if the wildlings eventually join them in the fight, but 3k at least. They go from 6k to 3k. (Most likely to 0, given that Jon's fight was hopless, but lets not go there).

Jon was never rallying the north to fight the WW. Just to fight the Bolton. If he truly was rallying the north to fight the WW then he's fucking retarded, regardless of the outcome there is now less men in the north to fight the Others.

Jon will learn of his Targaryen heritage from Bran. Daenerys will legitimize him as a targaryen, after he helped her reclaiming the iron throne. They will be engaged at the end of the season but not married yet. In the last episode the wall fill fall but Jon and Dany won't be there. They will be busy having their sexy time as a Massanger disturbs them that the wall has fallen. End Season 7.

So i was rewatching season 6 and in the episode where hodor dies. One of the white walkers comes in and fights one of the children of the forrest, she stabs him with a spear and fails to penetrate past the armor. Right after Mira throws another spear ( presumably of the same make) and kills it. Am i to understand that the children of the forrest can't kill white walkers?
