The movie favored Freddy so when they fought in the dream realm Freddy was able to almost kill him by drowning him, despite the fact that Jason has spent decades underwater without it bothering him. Then when Freddy gets summoned to the real world he bobs and weaves around all of Jasons strikes while stabbing him and then lures Jason to a construction site and the movie turns into a Looney Tunes cartoon.

The most people Freddy has ever killed is about a dozen in his second movie. In every other movie he only kills 3 to 6.

Jason in his first appearance killed 9, 12 in part 3, 14 in part 4 and in every movie since part 6 he's killed 16 to 23 people. there are single Friday the 13th movies where Jason kills half of the number of people Freddy has killed in every one of his movies.

Some horror crossovers were almost made after Freddy vs. Jason. Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash, Freddy vs. Jason vs. Pinhead, Pinhead vs. Michael Myers, Pinhead vs. Candyman and Candyman vs. Leprechaun (yes) all almost happened. The problem (aside from copyright) is that there isn't much of a reason for these characters to crossover. How the fuck they envisioned Pinhead/Michael, I don't know.

The best you can get is Terrordrome and Mortal Kombat X, if you want to see any crossovers. Some guy on YouTube has a few fan-made fights, too, but they're whatever.

Each IP holder and their legal team wants to make absolutely sure that "their" character either wins or doesn't lose because they don't want to look worse than the other one because it will "degrade their brand" or whatever.

This is why we never got a Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, and it's the reason why literally every crossover either ends in a tie or ends with one franchise looking like the winner but surprise in the last ten seconds they're not.
