Just watched the Brian Wilson biopicMikeLove & Mercy
And now I ask: why wasn't this nominated for any Oscars!? This came out in 2015 in the United States, the years of Spotlight, Revenant, Mad Fucking Max, The Martian, The Danish Girl, and it is so much better than any of them!
What the Hell is the Academy's problem!? I would have given it the Oscar for Best Picture in a blink of an eye

The Revenant is fine, and, along with Spotlight, is the only of the films I listed I can say is really good. But Love & Mercy is much better

Spotlight was hot awful garbage I don't know why anyone could take it seriously when The Paper came out 20 years prior. Spotlight looks like a turd on the street in comparison.
