But they are.Yes, that includes Spider-man 3

>>we pretend Spiderman 3 was great
No
>>and Spiderman 4 should've happened
It would have been much better most likely, so why not?
Spider-Man 3 is still more enjoyable and entertaining than anything that came after.
But if Spider-Man 4 was going to be more of the same in that it would have been more studio control and less Raimi then I wouldn't have wanted it.

Raimis Spider-Man was better though
There was more emotion in the Uncle Ben dying scene then there was in the whole Amazing Spider-Man and Homecoming movies combined

Tobey was best Spiderman, but the Vulture was actually a half decent villain for once (marvel struggles with these). The Garfield movies only strength is Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy was actually a good love interest that shared chemistry with Spiderman.

Raimi Spider 1 and 2 are really, truly, unironically kino. 3 was shit but still 2/3 makes it a pretty great series overall. Since then we've had 2 Andrew Garfield abominations and 1 decent but formulaic Disney spider man.
I don't think there's anything wrong with saying Raimi was better, looking at the facts it's still the best spider man film series to this day.

Spiderman 1 is a fine superhero procedural.
Spiderman 2 is really unusual for a summer blockbuster... or even for a movie. Most of the scenes are short and to the point, and very cruel. It's a like a slapdash, fast food version of a John Cassavettes film. I really like it.
