Bitch, I love Jarmush, but Paterson was just weak sauce. Permanent Vacation was even more deliberately boring, but it was a good film, Paterson was just a whole bunch of nothing.
As for the others, they're just uninspired as fuck. The Founder seemed like it could be a grade A biopic, but the story just wasn't that interesting. Guy opened a whole bunch of McDonald's and started fucking a new bitch, big whoop. Lost City of Z had like one half of a good scene and I can't for the life of me figure out what people loved about Hell or High Water so much.
