Why are comedy films so underrated? They never even win any important

there's always that one guy who's like "that's not funny"

also because comedy is hard, harder than, say, drama. it's easy to make a good drama, so there are more of them to win all the awards every year

I'm a comedian and I challenge this. It's very easy to get laughs out of people, but to make them cry? That's hard as fuck.
