Well that was what I was complaining about. Rossellini's character and the people she hangs out with in the movie were hired by the mother to kill Sailor but that plotline doesn't really go anywhere. Harry Dean Stanton's character is sent to look for Sailor and Lula but just ends up getting killed by Rossellini and her friends, which makes both those plotlines seem pretty isolated from the rest of the movie.
