Probably. The finale of season 1 felt like such a fucking copout. What was the point of building up so many characters and developing them just to die in DUDE EPIC TWIST. That coupled with the McGuffin of the Saint of Killers just completely soured what I thought was an interesting show.

And this Tulip shit FUCK OFF I don't fucking care about you, dumb cunt. This show would work ten times better as a buddy drama with just Jesse and Cassidy and some occasional Eugene cutaways. But no, we have to be constantly reminded of the fucking mess of a character that is Tulip and the zero amount of depth she adds to the show.

The first season was interesting because it gave a lawful neutral character an inherently evil ability that he tried to use to do good. It goes into this more with Eugene bringing up the argument that people need to be able to make mistakes and learn from them, and that not everything should be forgiven by man.
