>This made guy, right? Had the most discriminating eye when it comes to t&a. He's at a club one night, this broad's all over him. And she's got a really nice body, she's horny as hell. They step outside, they walk over to this picnic ground. She starts blowing him next to this swing set. He's about to shoot his load, he reaches down, to start fingering, undoes the skirt, reaches in, grabs hold of a goddamn prick.

>So my friend can't let this story get out. He wants to humiliate the freak as much as he was humiliated. So he gets this fucking acid, you know, burns everything. He pours it on her arms, on her face, everywhere, her prick. That's how good looking this broad used to look, had this wiseguy friend of mine totally fooled. She had to get a glass eye.

Chrissy was one of the strongest characters. I grew up on Long Island with relatives in Queens. He always reminded me of my relatives.
They all self destructed, just like Chrissy. Some shot in drug deals. Some ruined their health with drugs Artie Lange style. Some ruined themselves with alcohol. Just a whole generation of people that had no place in the post 70s Jew dominated US. To me this is partialy what the Sopranos is about.

>>
The way they build the backstory of Chris and Tony's relationship is flawless, especially around S5 when you hear firsthand accounts of how it used to be between the Two Tonys and Chris. He always had the inferiority complex, which led to overinflated ego, which led to him trying to balance absurdly cocky power moves with horrible drug addiction with his rat fiancee, which led to his inevitable demise.

One of those things where, on rewatch, you wonder why you never saw it coming. But that's just the kind of brilliant writing this show is renowned for.
>>
>>84931253
No one's death effected me as much as Chrissy's. There are characters who deserved it much less than him but still. And it's not like they did it out of nowhere. There were many times I felt Tony would get him whacked. Many times where I thought he'd fuck up and get shot. I don't even know anyone like him. I've lived a fairly sheltered life and apart from a cousin (who was like an elder brother to me and died driving drunk) haven't seen young death. But there was such an honesty to his character that it almost made everyone else look like a TV character although they were very well written too.

They say theres no two people on earth exactly the same. No two faces. No two sets of fingerprints. But do they know that for sure? Cause they would have to get everybody together in one huge space. And obviously thats not possible, even with computers. Not only that, theyd have to get all the people who ever lived, not just the ones now. So they got no proof. They got nothing. Mrs. Soprano may have passed, but whos to say there isnt another Mrs. Soprano just like her, or will be? Maybe not with the same fears and paranoia but the same. I think what he meant was that the US got a lot more sterile and safe after the 70s. Jews are just a representation for that.

How do you feel about his complete idiocy though? He tried to be a screenwriter out of self-importance and vanity, and he could barely type a coherent sentence. And he was also a heartless piece of shit who brutally murdered his NA sponsor who was trying to help him the whole time. Not saying it isn't heartbreaking, but it's not like he didn't deserve his death more than anyone else who got it

>He tried to be a screenwriter out of self-importance and vanity, and he could barely type a coherent sentence.

The reason he never succeeded at anything is because he grew up in the mob, and he tried to solve all his problems by being a tough guy. He knew he WANTED to be a writer, he knew he WANTED to be creative, but he never had anyone teach him to follow his dreams or experiment, he just saw a lifestyle he wanted to emulate and got frustrated when his usual methods couldn't get him the same results that a real writer got. He though the world worked like the mob, that he could just cheat and bully his way wherever he went and still get the same respect as someone who actually worked hard at those things, and he never understood what the difference was between himself and a hard worker, not even before he died

I didn't know kids as young as 10 were walking around back in the 80s with the means of accessing free high-definition pornography in the palms of their hands. I also didn't know transgenderism was celebrated and the White House was lighting itself up in Gay Pride colors.

We've fallen so far that people (like yourself) don't know which direction is up anymore.
>>
>>84932272
just because he couldn't type doesn't mean he couldn't write, he thought up Cleaver and he was clever and creative in general. plus he could act.
>his NA sponsor

>>
>>84932362
That's a good point, and it always reminds me of him taking those acting classes. He legit BTFO every other actor in that class, because he actually was a sensitive and creative soul, much like Tony. It's part of the tragedy that is the lifestyle of The Sopranos at large I guess. But I can't help but hold him responsible for all the sickening, abhorrent shit he did throughout the whole series, especially the way he treated Adriana. He's just another victim of the mafia, which is a theme I feel like the show is constantly shoving down your throat the whole time. You can't even come in the slightest contact with the mob without having some part of your life/soul utterly ruined. That said, I love Christopher and I feel as bad for him as you do. Particularly when you see him relapsing after trying to get clean, he's just weak and confused and lost. Making a flim called "Cleaver" about a homicidal mafia zombie, to come to terms with him gorily dismembering two human beings for a boss that he thought was fucking the girl he loved.
>>

>>
>>84928084
i love most of the characters. genuinely dont understand people complaining about the show citing tony or pauly or whoever as unlikable.

only thing i dislike about the sopranos was the that there is a bit too much monologuing from tony at melfi's office. the show'd be better if you cut melfi's time in half.
>>
>>84932506
Porn access is just technological advancement. People in the 70s would've been watching just as much porn as us if they had the access. 70s porn had way higher production value than most porn today.

Transgenderism wasn't "celebrated" because it wasn't possible to pass off as another gender back then so you inevitably looked hideous. People wanting to be another gender than what they were born as has existed as long as society has. As for being openly gay, I think it's way more degenerate to have a wife and kids and go on fishing trips with your buddy where you suck him off than being openly gay.
>>
>>84932589
never said he wasn't but don't act like that writer guy was any better, he was just a pusy

This was hammered home through Dr. Melfi.

Yeah I respected him and thought he was legit after when bevilaqua and the other guy attacked him. He was always ready to fight
>>
>>84932676
I feel like you're missing part of the point of the show then. It's chronicling Tony's spiral into utter amorality. The scenes with Melfi are the only scenes where you hear him being completely honest, surrounded by scenes where he is lying to and manipulating literally everyone around him. You see right into his tortured mind. Those scenes are the core of the show.

tony was an unlikable faggot exactly because of melfi. they say that the more you understand somebody, the more you will sympathize with them, which is why a lot of fiction likes to explain evil character backstories so that you will be interested in anti-heroes who would otherwise just be boring bad guys.

tony flips this shit upside down for me though because the more I knew about his retarded justifications, the more he just seemed like a selfish, emotionally immature dumbass. all these idiot wops in the show think they are somehow moralfags and muh catholic jesus is their patron, they call people they don't like scumbags etc. while drowning dudes like rats in bathtubs

the hypocrisy and lack of self awareness is just obnoxious, especially with tony.

>>
>>84932788
>The scenes with Melfi are the only scenes where you hear him being completely honest,
I agree with your overall point but Tony was just as manipulative around Melfi as any other time. He was honest at times but overall he wanted Melfi to respect him and would spin the narrative to make himself look good even when he knew he wasn't. He liked Melfi too much to really show her his weaknesses and insecurities.
One of the best parts of the show were seeing him struggle between treating her like a therapist and a woman he wanted to fuck.

Fair enough, that was probably condescending of me. On my third watch now, still wrapped up in the fucked up drama of it. But even you must still appreciate Gandolfini's world-class acting in those scenes. To see an actor of that caliber deliver such meaty emotional monologues is a really special thing.

>>84932973

You got what the writers were trying to tell you. The characters talk about family and respect and act like they're just doing the job for their children, and maybe they really do believe in all of those things, by at the end of the day they're all murderers and have all done horrible things to people who didn't deserve it.

Because he was the actual alpha of the group. The best looking. The most athletic. The strongest. The wittiest. What he wasn't was conniving and manipulative. Or tactful. Which is why he would never be the boss.

>>84933241
There was that but I think the show was also trying to show you how easy it is to sympathize and even root for people like them. Shows how if you had been part of their crew you probably wouldn't have taken a moral stand either.

Charmaine has constantly told Artie that he shouldn't let Tony run up ridiculous amounts on his tab that they point out he NEVER makes payments on. Artie also made some rebuild/naming decisions to cater to the brutish element of Tony's crew, above her protests. Also every time Artie grew some balls and hid something from his wife, he ended up getting the shit beaten out of him because he's just a cook, not a thug. The thug may be able to afford a meal better than the cook, but when the thug runs out of people or physical capacity to assert his power, the enemies crowd around him before eternal darkness.

I'm not sure if I'd call him tragic, really. He died to Phil when Tony was moralizing and still really cared for the guy. This is just an unsupported assertion. You can quote some ultra rare examples in history but that's not even close to defending the statement and it definitely doesn't say anything about the rate of population affected.

It's just another axiom of the left people swallow uncritically. You need to believe that to buy the rest of what they're selling you.

The sad reality is that we could be ignoring a massive change in the rate of transgenderism caused by hormonal drug pollution because you're only allowed to restate "it's natural" or the pc police will take your job from you.

JIDF showing how its totally 'not a thing'

Fuck off kikes.

Its the "current year", shaming doesnt fucking work, and its making people understand how Jews operate. Go on, do it some more and get evicted from every country on the planet like you did the few last centuries. Fucking retards.

most beta is definitely objectively Bobby Bacala

up until he beats Tony in a fight

Am I the only one who thinks Bobby Bacala seriously can't act for shit? His acting reminds me of a high schooler attempting to act in a play.
>>
>>84948308
i think that's bobby's general sense of not being at ease that you're picking up on

i didn't think his acting was off when his character's wife died

You might be the only one. I thought he was great, really touching when his wife died. And after that he's just a complete retard so I don't know what you were expecting

>Well you're a fucking hypocrite! Because everytime we watch "Godfather". When Michael Corleone shoots those guys at the restaurant, those assholes who tried to kill his dad. You sit there with your fucking bowl of ice cream and say it's your favorite scene of all time!

fuck this scene got me......
>>
>>84941645
you really didn't watch the show very closely.
One of the primary themes is the changing face of America. Tony Idolizes the old tough guys from Hollywood, and sees the changes in things like Chrissy and TJ's behavior. Something has changed.
What changed? American culture. You can describe the change in many ways: it became more effeminate. It became more legalistic. It became materialistic. It became less religious.
These are all just ways to say it became more Jewish.
>>
>>84950920
Please don't tell me you felt sorry for the useless little retard.

When people destroy themselves they bear personal responsibility. But one has to ask why didn't this happen a generation or two before?
I'm sure if you look around your own life you'll see similar people just wasting their lives.
Why do a third of black men end up in Jail?
Why do so many throw themselves away on opioids?
It's cultural. Decent people can't possibly live decent lives in a rudderless and degenerate culture.
The culture we live in was created at all levels by Jews. Nothing will change until we take the culture back.

>>
>>84948308
I thought the actor was great. His character wasn't really that of a mobster. It was always like he's a guy that just happened to be in the mob and overall he's a polite and nice schmuck.

He seemed like the guy that could actually be in the waste management industry. If anything he seems like the guy that acts as the best mobster. Doesn't kill unless he really has to, has hobbies outside of his job, and overall is a loving husband, father, and gentle person.

>older bro has always been the cool dudebro type that was good with girls, active social life, dude every body liked.
>I was a the complete opposite typical geek type, socially awkward, never could relate to my brother's friends.
>one time get super drunk
>started apologizing to him that I was a loser and a failed brother and how I never ended up being cool like James (a friend of ours who was my age who he used to go play basketball with and do cool people stuff with because like AJ, that just wasn't in my nature) and how he was probably the brother he wished he always had.
>My brother reacts similarly saying how he never thought of it like that and it was good that I wasn't like him who always made dumbass decisions growing up and how I was responsible and shit.

it was kind of gay and awkward for a few weeks after that where he kept reminding me that he loved me and shit.

Did he really mean it when he told me he wouldn't have wanted me any other way and that he was proud that I was his brother and that he couldn't have wished for a better brother?

or does he secretly wished I was more like James?

fuck I'm tearing up typing this.

Siblings aren't always going to be alike. This is normal. Doesn't mean they can't appreciate each other. I'd say he genuinely admires those qualities of yours that he lacks, and wouldn't want to swap you for anything.

Now stop crying you little bitch.
