"Gotham already died. You're not its reckoning - you're its resurrection. You're not Gotham's reckoning - but I am yours."

it keeps the whole duality of the theme of resurrection, as well as other characters in the film's love for bane (I am your reckoning/I am yours), foreshadowed in the plane scene (I'm a big guy for you)
