No one hates it, it just came out the wrong weekend. Though, no one could have expected Jurassic Park to be as huge as it was

Not every film has to be as dark and edgy and "serious" as Batman vs Superman, but in the eyes of a few distinct autists, anything else is not "worthy"

I love this movie and sometimes people don't understand anything, even for an action flick.

my one complaint would be the kid trying so hard to convince people that they live in a movie instead of having fun

The action isn't very good and it barely does any fun things with the premise. The meta-humor is basically like this guy said:

It's the kid complaining about things and pointing out how silly stuff is. Compare with, say, Who Framed Roger Rabbit which actually uses the weird rules of the world to drive the plot and have interesting scenes.
