I didn't like Quantum either, though I haven't seen it since it was released, and I've seen people reassessing it more positively since then. Maybe it'd seem better after crap like Skyfall.

Well everyone jerks off over the intro and its "one take", though it clearly cuts at the door. It's a very impressive sequence I have to say, it flows well and feels great up until the action. It did a good job at building tension while looking like a living painting.

It's quite unfortunate, I know. I researched Casino Royal and it's a great Bond movie. It brings Bond into modern times way better than Skyfall and Spectre. The action is great, the espionage is interesting, the plot makes you feel like you're seeing some real black government conspiracy shit. The theme song is also FUCKING amazing, it gets you pumped up rather than bored like in Skyfall and Spectre. Believe it or not, Spectre's theme was used during a sex scene, which really shows how slow and unexciting it is.
