50 - 15 is 35. Say Ben was her age, and Peter's Dad was like 5 or 6 years younger than him, hell, I have a little brother I'm 12 years older than.

Peter's parents could have been around 29 when he was born and it would fit just right for him to be 15, and her 50. 53 when he's a senior in H.S.

Then again, my Mom had me when she was 20. Ben and May could be as young as 21-22 when Pete's born, and 36-37 when he's 15, 39-40 when he's a senior in H.S.

It work for the comics too, as if there were a twelve year age difference, Ben and May could be 57 when he's 15 if Pete's parents had him at 30. That puts her at 60 when he's a high school senior.

It all depends on how you want to spin it, there's a bunch of feasible scenarios that fit.
