A Narnia inspired show where a depressed university student finds that everything he wanted (magic/fantasy worlds) is real, but they aren't as simple and innocent as he thought. It deals with the main character and others trying to stop a big bad called 'The Beast', but really it's about the main guy trying to get peace for himself without magic.

It just stuck with me because of the direction it took. It gets very dark very quickly.
