I really enjoy the main story line of jigsaw and his successors...how thr girl was an incompetent boob and the guy was a ruthless sociopath. Nether held the same Holier Than Thou morality that jigsaw did and fails because of it

What was the best/worst trap?

They changed the name of the new one from Saw: Legacy to simply "Jigsaw."

The main story has never really thrilled me that much, but they've done a decent job at connecting it all together, especially after Jigsaw died in III. The various trials are interesting enough, like the guy in VII who lied about being a survivor.

The traps are always fun to see. Sure it's torture porn, but they're still creative.

I guess I'd go with the Rack in 3, THOUGH, that is not a true trap in the spirit of jigsaw because the black guy was dependent on the dad to set him free. The concept of the traps is "do you have the will to live" not "hopefully another person isn't an ass"


Worst trap is the pig guts from 3 too. Just seemed lazy

I always liked the Angel Trap, even though it would have seemingly been impossible even if Amanda hadn't rigged it that way (surely the key would have been eaten away by the acid to the point it couldn't have opened the lock anyway.)

The Freezer Room also seemed particularly brutal compared to the usual slice n dice method of the other traps.

Worst trap? I guess the Shotgun Carousel from VI kinda sucked considering four had to die (even if we were led to believe they were all shitty people.) The Razor Box from II was also kind of lame (apparently if they listened to the tape they would have realized they could simply open the box on the other side without sticking their hands through the razors.)
