>rewatch Spider-man 1 and 2
>still fun
>ok writing and good direction
>memorable scenes
>Tobey is fucking terrible and can't act
>most boring Peter Parker and Spidey in any form of media ever
Tobey is not as good as you remembered
time to take off that nostalgia goggles
I respectfully disagree.
Bait just barely good enough to get me to reply.

What do you expect it's a capeshit movie a bout a guy seinging around in spandex because he got bit by a radioactive spider. I like it because it's Brechtian this stupid super hero crap doesn't need to be taken so seriously.
Modern capeshit is unwatchable with how seriously it takes itself.

Spader-Man, Spader-Man
Tobey Spidey is like Halo of FPS
kids in who grow up in that Gen will say it's the best because it's their first FPS even though Quake and Doom exist way before
>>84765959
Jesus Christ I never thought I'd see someone describe Raimi-Man as Brechtian.
Self aware /= Brechtian
>>84765972
retarded comparison from a mongoloid struggling with sentence composition
>Tobey Spidey is like Halo of FPS
Fuck me
>>84765972
Not true at all. Anyone who isn't autistic about muh comics will see the strengths of the Raimi films, even 3 to a lesser extent.

I know, it's movieblob but it's a good analysis. Also, that picture is a PERFECT example of something that's cute and funny in a comic book, but would be embarrassingly stupid and childish in a live action adaptation, and I'm 100% certain that Homecoming is going for that.
>>84765873
Who's that in the picture? Max Resdefault? Sounds like a French name, or possibly Belgian.

>>84765972
Only consolefags have a hardon for Halo though, people from that gen who had a PC don't give a shit about it.
>>84766162
Sucks for them, Halo 2's campaign is fun as fuck.
>>84765873
kill yourself homo Spidey 2 is literally perfection. Homocoming was the 2nd best Spidey film ever but that really isn't a super high standard.
>>84766528
Spidey 2002 is the second best Spiderman movie.
>that Uncle Ben death scene
>Macho Man cameo
>Based Willem Dafoe
>Upside down kiss scene
>great "power discovering" scenes

Go watch GCI-man you lefty cuck
Writing>directing>sound design>costume design>acting.
>>84766867
Completely wrong. Writing doesn't mean jack shit if the acting sucks. In fact if the writing is good but the acting sucks it's physically painful to watch because bad acting renders good writing worthless.
Acting=directing>writing>sound design>costume design
>>84766949
Watching someone make faces convincingly does nothing if the writing isn't effective. Don't give a shit. All bad acting does is remove the immersive quality of film, which is a shitty illusion and shouldn't be the main focus of a film anyway.
>>84767081
For me, bad acting completely invalidates the writing, no matter how good it is. If the acting is bad, I care literally zero about the writing. Never waste good writing on bad acting. I've seen movies that I don't like specifically because I didn't like the acting. Man of Steel is a perfect example. I'll take good acting and sub par writing over bad acting and decent writing any day.
