Does anyone else wish they gave Bruce a cameo in Homecoming as a little shoutout to the Raimi films?

I know everyone hated the third one but Spider Man 1 and 2 are very nostalgic to me and I can't help but wonder what became of Maguire's Spidey and his world.

I'd like to see a Raimi shoutout in the next one.

The thing is, it would have gone over most people's heads, most people probably haven't seen the Raimi Spider Men in forever and would just wonder who this guy is.

I wish could rewrite the timeline so the Amazing Spider Man never happened and Raimi got to make Spider Man 4 to tie his universe up circa say 2011.

I'm totally down with a rebooted Spider Man for the MCU but the Raimiverse feels unfinished and deserves more respect due to being one of the things that started the Superhero movie trend.
