When will True Detective S2 get reappraised as being a top-tier

It was good but compared to season 1 it's shit
But compared to other tv shows its grea

The only good part of S1 is the 6 minute tracking shot. Rust is 2edgy4me but I guess that's why /tv/ prefers that season.

S1 was just well made, it goes beyond Rust edginess.

Gripping action scenes, great character development, decent ending.

Season 2 was great for sure.
Season 1 is just so perfect that it's hard to separate the 2. Season 2 ended way better and significantly more depressing.
