It is almost like plot structures, character quirks, and general settings/tone are not the exclusive property of whatever movie did them first. If you take the stance that because Drive did those things no other movie can then the logical end point of that stance is that every movie is a blatant hack rip off of like the first 5 movies ever filmed.
