Peep Show is ok, but it's not great. It's about the same level as Inbetweeners.

Britbong here. Monty Python is absolute shit, OP. Only 10% of brits think it was even remotely funny. Fuck knows why it has such a cult following. I have never watched "A Life of Brian" or any of their movies because 10 minutes of one of their tv shows is enough to realise it's absolute shit.

It's probably how Americans look at Will Ferrell's work. I think he's awful, and in no way a representation of "American humor", yet he has a cult following that think he's hilarious.

This. So much this. Britbong here too OP, and I agree with this 100%. Not funny and most people here don't consider it funny. I have not and will never watch any Monty Python television show or movie because I do not find it funny. It's almost like how David Hasselhoff is considered great in Germany or Michael Jackson is considered great in Japan but in their home countries they are sad jokes.

Blackadder is wonderful though.
