When did you realize that the meme of "Quantum of Solace is one of the worst Bond movies" was a lie?
I seriously feel like people who spout this haven't seen some of the real nadirs of the franchise. At least QoS works as a solid action movie albeit with some shaky cam that's only really bad in that opening car chase.

I realized it when I saw it in theaters 10 years ago. It's awesome. It's like an art house Bond movie. The opera scene was one of the best in the franchise. The parachute scene was undeniably retarded though.

The shakey cam is a bit of an issue too. The scene where bond was chasing that guy through a festival or some shit near the start gave me AIDS. You actually can't tell what's going on when we're they thinking.

The editor, who is probably the director, is so goddamn incompetent. A fucking dialogue scene has at least 1 cut every second, then it ramps up to insane amounts of cuts during the action

It's mid-tier Bond, especially now with Spectre to make it look so much better - bloated Waltzin garbage or the shortest Bond movie that rips off the Bourne franchise?
QoS is seriously rewatchable though, flaws and all. Better than any Pierce Brosnan, fite me
