How come this guy is still alive at the end of the film when Two-Face shoots him in the bar? He looks pretty obviously dead here.

Question about the ending to this whole scene. The Joker and his goons crash the party looking for Harvey Dent and then eventually Rachel gets tossed out the window and Batman saves her. They land on top of a car outside the building and that's it, cut to next scene. However, Joker and the goons were still inside. Did they just give up and quietly leave the party?

They Joker concluded that Batman might be Harvey and left. I think there's an extra scene in the novelization where they're on the getaway ride and he explicitly states it to the goons.
