WTF happened to netflix? Didn't you used to be able to get like 4 discs out at a time? What is the point of the starter plan?? Only 2 discs per month?? wtf is going on

It’s 2017 dad people don’t rent dvds.
>>84379250
um I don't give a shit about dvds. Not to mention any streaming service has a total dogshit selection compared to physical
>>84379303
Blu Rays are just dvds for autists
People get the disks still?
>>84379206
Suckers!
After destroying video stores, Netflix is getting out of the DVD rental business
Have fun streaming with no titles to choose from
I tried to warn you
Doesn't everyone just use Redbox for physical rentals?
>>84380138
There is nothing there
A good video store had >100,000 unique titles
How many does Redbox have?
>>84380213
Good video stores don't exist anymore.
People are mostly interested in newer titles, which Redbox provides.

Except every second title on Netflix I check is only available in abysmal SD quality, despite BDs being out. My library rents blurays, and they have a larger selection than Netflix, and as proven, much high quality.

Every time I try to rent anything new at the library there is a 9 week queue. Watching series is completely off the table unless I want to engineer some year-long plan to get all the discs in order in a reasonable amount of time.

>Netflix trying be Blockbuster + HBO
>meanwhile HBO actually has/had decent shows and makes a profit

There are still a couple left, in urban areas
