Being from the Southwest US, this is spot on for shitty Mexican music videos and commercials and the like.

On a satirical level, the editing is fucking perfect.

I had watched some of the shield so I knew what they were doing.

And for anyone who doesn't know, mariachi songs about drug dealers is a real genre of Mexican music, so there is certainly a chance that this music video is something intended to exist in-universe.
