I thought it was pretty funny them constantly pushing Shadow and the goddess of beauty as being attractive because they were people of color though they were quite ugly. Worst of all was showing the goddess' sad, misshapen breasts. The spider god spinning a tall tale about powerful womyn was pretty lulzy. It is the kind of stuff that gets posted here from reddit, twitter, or some other god awful source.

The real issue I had with the series was they weren't consistent. with the power of belief angle. Each time someone died they were met by what they believed in who took them to the afterlife except in the zombie's case. She believed in nothing so she should have been met by no one yet for some inexplicable reason Anubis appeared.
