Transformers was never good. People usually think the original was a good movie because it was the first of its kind, but I saw the first three movies and they are on the same level of trash. Watchable, but I don't get why the first one is so praised while the second one gets so much shit.

why are some people expecting some Golden Globe type movie? This is a supposed to be big screen Saturday Morning Cartoon. You're supposed to have fun and be amazed at spectacles. Bay even mentioned in previous interviews that the Transformers amusement park inspires him to keep doing the films for kids. If you want to watch some highbrow film go watch Moonlight or Million Dollar Baby.
