Is every King of the Hill episode basically
>Strawman comes onto the show
>Hank is a good boy, he dindu nuffin - he just wanted to mow his lawn. He was getting his propane career back on track!
>Strawman is defeated in some way by Hank's old fashioned ways
Or am I missing something?

I mean I haven't seen every episode but I don't think that's accurate at all
Somebody, usually one of hanks friends, Bobby, or Peggy, but sometimes hank himself, finds themselves in a self-inflicted spot of trouble due to their various foibles (Peggy delusions of grandeur, Hank's stubbornness and rose tinted glasses, the one friend with no confidence and no ambition, the paranoid conspiracy theorist friend)
And then they get out of it with a little humility and help from their friends
I DO know what you mean where sometimes a side character appears that's kind of unrealistically douchey, and they get theirs in the end, but that's not the majority of episodes in my experience
>the episode where Dale, Bill and Boomhauer all get locked up in a mental hospital and Hank takes care of it in 20 minutes

Every King of the Hill episode is basically
>the enlightened centrist way, not too progressive we must hold onto what made us great but we must also have a bit of leniency
