Covenant is shit and it could have a negative impact on Alien if Ridley goes full retard and decides that the ship on LV-426 carried David's eggs.

The idea of xenos being created by a man-made agent is poison to the entire mythology. In fact, even recreating them while mimicking some space jockey experiment is pretty bullshit.

All those things aside, Covenant is just a really bad movie. Fasbender is the only memorable thing about it. Every other character is completely forgettable. Every decision pushing the action forward is pants on the head retarded. Even the aliens are a massive letdown since they're killed so easily that they somehow feel even less threatening than in AVP. And don't even get me started on that ridiculous "raise your hands, sweetie" scene.

It's way worse than Resurrection.
