I'd like to see Idris Elba play a GL akin to the one in TDKSA, where he is almost godlike and left earth as a manifestation of pure willpower and concentration, drawn back to earth to defeat Darkseid.

We'll never get that, though. They'll probably go with a safe Nu52 variation in case he's wildly popular

Unironically, they should introduce 2 green lanterns simultaneously, one of whom should be Jon Stewart, to ease the audience into it
