>when a good movie has a shit ending without any closure
this is the worst THE WORST
Why not just say the particular movie that pissed you off?
itcomesatnight.txt
>>84194361it actually wasn't a movie but a videogame, Rime. I post this here on /tv/ because it's obvious that the devs wanted to make a movie but had to settle for a game instead. Also they were making it with Sony for a bit, and their influence is very strong, the game itself feels like a movie in most parts.
NOBODY CARED WHO I WAS UNTIL I PUT ON THE MASK
>it's a terrible movie that manages a visually-strong final act
>90 minutes trash, 30 minutes CG porn
>plebs walk out of the theater delighted and sure to tell everyone how great a film it was
This one is worse because of how insidious it is.

Get this hothead out of here.
I am legend but the closure is shit
>>84194303
Stories with lack of closure are the ones you talk about and remember the most.

Why are you HERE?
>>84194507
videogames are dead, why do you keep trying?
>when the third act goes off a cliff and all you can think is what if
>>84195986
because it was better as a movie than a videogame

Only for a short while, the best remembered stories are the ones that people can actually remember the ending to. Stories that lack an ending, or closure in general, are just forgotten.
I'm not even asking for a hamfisted "and then they lived happily ever after" etc fairytale ending, just something that answers some of the major questions that the plot's drama creates. People read stories in part because they want an ending, lacking one is lazy writing.
>when a good show has a shit ending without any closure
>mfw ep 6 was just ep 4 again
lucas was always a hack
>>84196615
>mfw ep 6 exists
>>84196882
>mfw I actually saw ep1 in theaters when I realized lucas was fucking clueless
>>84196482
Was it worth the money? I like the artstyle but the gameplay looks like ass
THIS
FUCKING
GARBAGE
Oh, we can't let the bad guy win, lets just do a bit of fuckery at the end and bam hes dead. O well. Fade to black. Only time I felt like chucking the dvd case at the tv.

It really depends if you like 3d animated movies or not. If you do, Rime at $30 is a good deal because there's not much "game" to it, it's a very easy platformer. Worth a pirate too, if you're into that.
