the prequel trilogy IS shit. george could have done literally anything with the universe he created, and we got boring space political talk, everyone being complete retards, stiff terrible acting, melodramatic cringe love story, robbing the jedi of their mystique and making them like uncool priests/political counselers, etc.
they have their moments that are decent and obviously they're not entirely bad and there are some cool settings and characters, but as a whole they suck.
but i don't think the OT was all that great either so whatevs.
