Season 2 was BY FAR the worst season because they are stuck on that fucking farm with nothing happening.

I think the writing has gotten better in season 6/7 when they introduce the new antagonists and there's more of an on-going plot than just wandering around in the woods aimlessly.

I only watch it because I'm 7 seasons in and dont want to quit now. Its mediocre tv with some cool moments though

did anybody else here skip pretty much 65% of each episode for the last couple of seasons? the show can really honestly just be pruned to the point where it's about as long as a 10 minute youtube compilation of all the decent parts

I still read the comics but I can't get into the series, I've watched the first and second season but can't go any further without being un-engaged and stopping.

It's because it's enjoyable for what is it, which is a day to day Zombie survival story. When you actually think about it the story is shit, the writing is shit and you're just slogging through it to get to interesting bits that are only interesting because of the setting, not the writing or characters.

I completely dropped Fear because I didn't remember it coming back.

Saw a thread after premiered and I can't believe they squandered Punished Travis killing him off in the first episode of season 3. What kinda retards they got making this shit? Could have had Low Winter Sun keep going for crime shit but I'm glad Mad Men and Hell On Wheels ended well.

The spin-off isnt bad either. It keeps you on your toes because the protagonists arent really established and they arent stuck in a single location like Rick and the gang.
