first one was decent. i liked how simple it was. idiot gangsters spoiled son unwittingly kills the baddest dude on the block's puppy so now he's gonn go fuck him up.

it was almost silly in its premise and theon greyjoy's dad giving the speech about how scary john wick was kinda felt contrived, like they were pitching the character to me. aside from that it was fun.

second one bored me though, but i didn't give it my full undivided attention. i'll try it again, but i didn't care much for what i saw.

I've only seen the first one but the fight scenes are a refreshing break from jump cut scenes where an actor makes one movement then jump cuts to another angle to finish the move then jump cut to transition next move. At least Keanu actually knows how to fight so I can get more than 2 seconds of an uncut fight scene.
