Why do Americans love to take characters that are wholly evil and irredeemable mass murderers and turn them into some kind of pop culture icon superheroes fun for the whole family? Doesn't that kill the whole point of them movies being horrible or scary if you're rooting for the killer? Is it a latent subconscious desire that Americans have they you WANT to be killed brutally?
