Did Alejandro rape Guillermo? The scene was set up as if to be a water boarding but at the end of the scene, you hear Guillermo say "No, no.." his chair fall back, some grunting and the drain is dry, with the water jug sitting next to it. After that I don't think you ever see Guillermo or the room again?

Is it possible he was being beheaded, with the water used later to flush the blood the down the drain? Also, in the scene after that - Emily Blunt and a soldier watch people fighting in Mexico through a pair of binoculars and the soldier says "That's what happens when you chop the head off a chicken."

Yeah, I know the posturing was mostly dominance and it would be weird to rape the guy but you never know. I'd venture to say Alejandro's wife and daughter were raped before they were killed and the cartel Alejandro is working for is likely very brutal in their practices. Aside from that though, Alejandro doesn't ever show any sadism and when he kills the guy at the end (the guy you'd think he'd save the most brutality for) it's more efficient than cruel.
