Season 1-5 were the best because it seemed more authentic, it was just a bunch of awful people being awful to each other. The side characters were also better. After that the show got more and more over the top and ridiculous, the characters became caricatures. It was still funny, but it felt like an entirely different show. I really hope they don't try to make another season

You can't prove me wrong because it's a weak show. Larry David never was THAT talented- Dr. Katz relied on the humor of other comedians. Seinfeld is situational comedy but it relied heavily on the actors and their portrayal. Once he decided to enter the spotlight his mediocrity became apparent.
