The moment the governer died is when the show lost it's magic. Not even specifically because of the Governer, but it just feels like the start of the series up until leaving the prison was the story they wanted to tell, they told the story, and now they are just continuing it endlessly.

There were some neat parts here and there sure, but at best there's like two episodes a season that capture the magic since then and most of it is just wacky completely unrealistic, impossible nonsense with plot armor out the ass and a story that doesn't even try to sell itself anymore.
