I watched 14 seasons of Next Generation, but for whatever reason I can't stomach this. It just lacks the charm that comes from Canadian Public Broadcasting and a TV channel that completely relies on the show's existence to succeed.

As the show's gone on it's adopted a more overtly soapy entertainment angle. The after-school-special vibe it used to have kept things a little more grounded and cheesy charming. Even the wardrobe has changed over time to reflect the shift. First handful of seasons of TNG remain the best.
