Who is "sleepwalker" by?

The tree is unironically my favorite character from the season. That scene where Coop is back for a short while and the tree telling him to tear the midget's hand off was beaufitul. It's too bad that the two karate chops with that sound effect was kind of dumb, but the tree rising from the concrete to encourage Coop almost brought me to tears.

That said, yeah, the season is uneven. There's a lot of dubious choices where David Lynch definitely gets the benefit of the doubt and people try to see what his intention was without being honest with if it ended up or not working on the screen. The editing is... something. There might be an uncanny feeling he's shooting for, making scenes last too long to get people uneasy and think "wait something's wrong" without being able to put their finger on it (not talking about the sweeping scene since this one was pretty overt and I'm not sure what he was shooting for with it). I love Twin Peaks and Lynch, but even if I think the small bits of genius that comes make up for the clunky stuff, to be honest there are lots of things that don't completely work, for me at least.

That whole scene felt off . The guy who comes in and sits alone at the booth, too many people moving around, even for a busy diner on a weekend night in a small town.

I'm enjoying it, and I look forward to it every week, but honestly, there are very, very few theories or even ideas being thrown around for a show that's pretty much based around mystery and atmosphere.

It's honestly pretty weak, especially watching week by week. At this point I'm hoping that there's been some thread that can be followed scattered throughout, and not just the whole "Lynched" meme.

Rewatching season 1/2 in between the new episodes and they're far, far more entertaining and interesting despite having seen them before.
