Why do people root for Jimmy in "Better Call Saul" when he is a skeevy criminal? He is a bad influence on people around him and frankly not even a great conversation artist (he would be in jail a long time ago if it weren't for his brother)? He just takes advantages of the privileges he gets from having a hard-working lawyer brother.
Also, why do people root for Jesse? He's a fucking murderous drug addict who should be in prison for life for killing people and trafficking drugs.

But I'm conservative. The law should apply to everyone, though and it's not fair for someone to just take advantage of connections to evade justice.
