If you like Arnold, you cant go wrong with Commando..
Master and Commander is great, but kinda slow, you gotta already like the whole naval theme.
All the war movies are cliche, but still good. You should watch some real war kino like Das Boot.
Apocalypse Now is one of my favorites, but not for everyone.
I never liked tombstone.

The theatrical release would be the best for first viewing, and then redux afterwards as the pacing becomes terrible around the french dinner part of the movie.

Apocalypse Now is the best out of all of them.

Sopranos fucking hands down. Best show of all time.

Only downside: after you finish it you'll want to kill yourself because nothing else compares.

Any extra scenes really bring the pacing to a halt in the redux. They're good scenes and add some interesting stuff, but it's definitely better off without them overall. Not to mention Willard stealing a surf board for a laugh, despite spending the entire rest of the movie being totally serious all the time.

Apocalypse Now was pretty, kino, just rewatched it last night. Definitely not what you'd expect if you're looking for a pure action war film, though.

Regular version. Redux is cool once you've seen the regular version, but IMO the regular version has better unity of effect.
