Childhood is siding with the boys.
Adulthood is realizing Lois was always right.
Why were they so poor?
Hal had like some management job, you'd think it'd pay halfway decent.
>>84018644
umm, no, that woman is fucking crazy
Society is not worth saving.
>>84018668
t. Francis
>>84018665
well he never went to work on a friday
>>84018665
They had five kids, didn't use any kind of welfare and Lois worked minimum wage. Plus it was established that Hal was constantly getting passed over for promotions and pissing off his bosses.
>>84018665
They're American
Official Malcolm in the Middle Power Rankings
Hal >Francis > Lois > Reese > Dewey > Malcolm > Jamie
How is it that Hal was the only one whose career went anywhere?? Never would have seen that coming with all the talent on this show
>>84019019
Jane Kaczmarek has been in countless roles since MitM ended
>>84019019
there was definitely no way Frankie Muniz was going to make it being an adult actor stuck in a child's body
>>84019019
>implying Hal wasn't the standout in most of the episodes
The kids were eh and Lois' actress still gets work.
>>84018690
tfw you were the Francis of your family and your lil bro was Malcolm
>>84019203
could there BE anymore of a early-2000s teen film?
>>84019019
Ay Lois has done things. But the guy who played Malcolm is chill. He can live off the syndication money and fund his hobbies (like driving racecars). He still does shit movies like Sharknado, I assume to stay somewhat relevant for future roles and keep steady money to buy expensive shit.
Honestly it's the way to go. Live wealthy without doing much shit, and avoiding the spotlight
Best TV milf of all time though
>>84019277
I'm still waiting for Pizza Man to come out. Will it ever see the light of day?
>>84019708
I agree. Childhood is thinking Lois was the hottest one on the show. Adulthood is realizing how right you were and still thinking she was the hottest on the show.
>>84018644
Man, I wish I could go back to the early 2000s. Simpler times...
>>84019708
Even in her prime she had nothing on Toyota Lady.
>>84020734
Wait is this Lois?
>>84021476
No it's not
>>84020734
Jan from Toyota is a delightful milf
>>84018665
they could never get ahead because the kids were constantly causing expensive incidents.
>>84021721
She needs to hurry up and get a bit part on a sitcom or something.
>it's a Craig episode
>>84022128
>looses
>>84022179
I can't read what it says.
>>84022319

>>84021776

>yfw ditch your dad to get at some girls at cheerleading camp
>>84018706
This
>>84018665
>Had had like some management job
No he didn't: he worked in a cubicle, meaning he likely had a very menial office position, like a mail clerk or maybe even a telemarketer.
>>84018665
You realize how much it cost to raise a kid?
>>84024422
I have three siblings and my dad was a funeral arrangement salesman and we loved pretty good.
>>84022676
dude thats pissfu from westworld
her tits are too big for that blue top
They were really iresponsible parents. I could make a list but too lazy right now.
>>84024472
Yeah, because you didn't cause as much shit as Francis, Reese and Malcolm did.
>>84024526
>her tits are too big for that blue top
I just noticed that.
Has she developed further?
>all the boys worship Francis
>he was such an unruly asshole they literally had to put him in a military school before he ended up in prison or dead
>paying the tuition left the rest of the family just barely scraping by
>he's also a manlet and married outside of his race
they should've killed him
Was that black wheel chair kid an actual tard or was he acting?
>>84024832
he was the boys' rebellious male role model being that Hal was a pussy and their mom was a woman
>>84024950
Hal only became a pussy because of Lois. Without her he's even worse than Francis (see the episode when Lois leaves them for a week or so).
>>84018665
>Having children
Not even once.
Childhood is liking Malcolm episodes. Adulthood is realizing Hal episodes are guaranteed kino.
>>84018644
the worst element of sitcoms is the perpetuation of "in america, money finds you!" that seems to be the modern version of the american dream
used to be a society where no one was above the law
then it was a democracy where all able bodied adults were equal in the eyes of the law (even if some rich/important people can get away with heinous shit)
then, bizarrely, it was a white picket fence and highballs after work served by your doting wife - also 'in god we trust' had to be printed on all money for some reason
during the 60s it was equal opportunity for everyone but we're going to accomplish this by riding MLK's coat tails, taking a lot of acid, and winning the opposition over with 'love'.
now it's equality of outcome by any means necessary and fuck reason, logic, even talking to the evil white supremacist patriarchy and see if communism will work on the thousandth try and not result in mass genocide like it has every other time.
But sitcoms perpetuate the idea that money is just around the corner and everyone has good opportunities in America. If it were realistic, the parents would both work two dead end jobs, never see their kids, and their kids would be mercilessly bullied for not wearing brand name shirts and pants.
Part of the reason Cranston made the jump to BB so well was because Walt is Hal's alter ego cousin basically.

>>84025007
>Lois is the reason the boys look up to Francis
right, just see: Hal pre-Lois with his long hair and motorcycle
>>84025120
Very true.
>>84019019
Muniz bought that car from the fast and the furious, that counts right?
>>84025120
>their kids would be mercilessly bullied for not wearing brand name shirts and pants.
I was going to ask what this had to do with Malcolm until I read this part. Who hurt you anon?
bitch could have kept her legs closed in the first place
>>84018985
>Francis being better than any other family member
Shit taste desu

If this is true...really makes you think
Why has my 4chan upgraded? No all the pics open in the thread itself, instead of in a new browser window?
>>84021721
>she's quickly approaching 50
Hnnnngg
>>84022128
First 5 tapes are clearly labeled in a way that indicates fap material for a straight man, but included at the bottom is a tape about a guy having his underwear revealed. Is this trying to clue the audience in about something?
I was so disappointed when they did the whole new baby thing, seeing as it seemed to be a new type of sitcom that left all those shitty tropes behind.
>it's a Malcolm fucks up a chance at happiness by overthinking it and looking like an asshole episode
These were hilarious as a kid. For some reason, they're not so funny anymore.
>the nerds were called Krelboynes
Yeah thanks, no need for an explanation, I'm sure everyone gets the obscure reference
>>84026219
Get 4chan x bro.
>>84026334
>The Malcolm in the Middle writers, and other uses of the Krelboyne as a name for nerds, etc. was inspired by the nerdy character Seymour Krelboyne, of Little Shop of Horrors (which was changed to Krelborn in the musical version)
Who didn't get this reference? It's so obvious.
>>84019277
the problem for muniz is that as usual children stop developping once they become famous and rich
I have grown to hate this show and everything about it except the theme song.
s1 is good
s2 is bad
s3 is meh
the rest is shit
>>84026541
Also the black kid that only says one word at a time is alright.
>>84026593
are you sure?
>>84025070
>children not even once
>wouldn't even be alive if his parents didn't conceive
>>84025122
>that fake BB ending where it was just Hal's dream
Those two didn't miss a beat, wouldn't mind a reunion special 2bh
>>84018665
