God did anybody else see this at all? That god damn twist at the ending was sooo,... not sure how to describe it with a single word. It waste the final act and makes the already pathetic, useless protagonist even more sad and pathetic. She's a hero in her head for 20 minutes and then it all comes crashing down. As if the girl already didn't have brain damage in the story before that loose flappy plot got started she's proper retarded now.
There was a couple spots where there was some tension and generic jump scares with great concepts to try and elevate this flick but the characters acting and dialogue... god damn it. Was so dry and they come off as intelligent and mature as wet towels(at least the protagonist for sure.) There was a few moments of dialogue where the audience at my theater burst out in laughter at how bad it was.
Go revisit or do yourself a favor and see The Shallows from last year if you want a good shark flick.

She doesn't have that great of a bum buts it's there in a few shots. No focus. You'd probably be disappointed. She's also like 40 playing someone as smart as a 14 year old girl

Yea it's not bad for the first half. Then Douglas shows up and the movie gets really hammy. Pretty fun flick still.
